Hearing Aid Battery Tester

Hearing aid battery testers are meant to assist you in trouble shooting situations when you wonder if the hearing aid is working. To use the battery tester you place the battery with the positive (flat) side up in the sunken in area.

Push the battery up against the metal edge and look for black bars to come up the screen. If the bars go all the way up to the top and stay there, the battery is good. If the battery is good and the hearing aid is still not working, it is time to replace the filter. If this does not solve the problem you should call your audiologist and and have them assess the problem.
